By ordering from Bakes by Briley you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Orders must be made with a minimum of 5 days' notice and at least two weeks' notice for cakes.
All postal, cupcake and traybake orders need to be paid in full within three days of ordering to secure the order. Postal orders shall be sent via Royal Mail’s First-Class service unless otherwise stated or arranged. This service aims to deliver the next working day, however, sometimes there are postal delays and this isn't always possible. Please allow up to 3 working days to receive your parcel. All treats will still be absolutely fine as they are baked fresh and shall arrive in cellophane wrapping. We will not offer a refund or replacement for any order that is delivered within this time frame, unless it is incorrect or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Please note, although we package the products well, damage and breakages can still occur in transit and will not warrant a refund. Once you place your order, you are confirming that you agree to these terms and are happy to wait the allotted time specified, including any delays up to 3 working days.
For cakes, a 50% deposit must be paid within 3 days of making the order and full payment to be completed two weeks before the collection date. The payment date will be sent in within all email invoices.
If you need to change the date or details of your order or cancel it altogether, please contact us as far in advance as possible. Orders cancelled 7 days or more before the delivery/collection date will receive a full refund on the order total; those cancelled within 3-6 days of delivery/collection will be entitled to a 50% refund; those cancelled within 48 hours of the order date will not be entitled to a refund (although refunds and credit notes may still be provided at Bakes by Briley's discretion).
When collecting your order, we would advise always having suitable space prepared in the boot of your vehicle which is completely flat and clear to avoid anything that has the potential to fall on your order. Once orders have been collected, we cannot be held liable for any damage that occurs in transit.
All cakes, cupcakes, tray bakes etc are baked to order. Refunds, credit notes or a replacement order to the same value will be given only in the event that you receive the incorrect product or if the products are shown to be of unsatisfactory quality. Should this be the case, or if you are in any way unsatisfied with the condition or quality of your cakes upon arrival you must contact us and return the item within 24 hours of receipt. Bakes by Briley will not accept liability for any complaint made after this time.
We reserve the right to use photographs of orders made by us on our website and any Bakes by Briley social media platforms. Please let us know if you would like to specifically request that we do not use pictures of your order, or if you would like to be sent a photo of your order for personal use, we are happy to do so.
